SAIL -Bhilai Steel Plant is inviting
application for the post of “Fireman-cum-Engine Driver (Trainee)" for its
Plant. Advt. No.: BSP- 277(Rectt.) / 13-14.The Willing and eligible
candidates may submit their application through Online within 9-3-2014.

Qualification: Pass with minimum 50% marks in Higher
Secondary (10+2) and shall possess valid Driving License for Heavy Motor
Vehicle.
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 years to
28 years as on 01-02-2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs;
Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.
Physical Standards of the candidates:
Height — 165 cms.
Weight—50 kgs
Chest (Expanded/ Un-expanded)—
86.5cms/81cms.
Eye Sight — 6/6 (without glasses)
Colour Vision— Normal.
Candidates must not have knock knee,
flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour
vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any
physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the
duties.
Candidates who are selected as
Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) will be placed on training for at
least two (2) years which can be extended by another two years as per
requirement. On successful completion of training period, they shall be
regularized in S-1 grade. After successful completion of Training, Candidates
shall be placed under probation for 1 year. Selected candidates will be paid
consolidated pay during training period of Rs.8600/- and Rs.10000/- for first
year and second year respectively.
Selection Process: 1st step
of the Selection is to be a Written Test then a Physical Ability Test/ Driving
test and finally an Interview. Date and venue will be intimated in due course.

After applying online, the candidate is required to download the
system generated with unique registration number and other essential details.
N.B: DO NOT SENT THE PRINT-OUT TO SAIL.
Fee for Application: Candidates shall pay Application Fee with
processing fee of Rs.150/- through any branch of State Bank of India
SC/ST candidates shall pay only Processing
Fee of Rs.50/-
No Application Fee for SC/ST candidates.
