42 Supervisor, Archival Assistant, Mender and Helper are recruiting by National Archives of India, New Delhi, on purely contract basis for  one year for undertaking specific work of two projects, namely – (I) Preparation of Reference Media of Public Records and (II) Processing and Accessioning of Records and Preparation of Reference Media. qualification  and other  details are given below.

a. Archival Asst: 36 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have Master's Degree in Modern Indian History/ having one optional paper of post 1750 A.D. from any recognized University of India.The candidates who have passed one year diploma in ‘Archives and Records Management’ from the School of Archival Studies, National Archives of India, New Delhi with basic knowledge of computer and also having working knowledge of the project will be given Preference.
Age Limit:  Maximum 40years
Salary:  Rs.22000/- per month

b. Supervisor:  4 Nos.
Educational Qualification:  Retired Archivist/ ADA from National Archives of India/ 15yrs experience in Archives.
Salary: Rs.25000/- per month.

c. Mender: 2 Nos.
Educational Qualification:  Minimum class 10 passed and trained in Archival Conservation
Age Limit: At least 18years.
Salary:  Rs.8000/- per month.

d. Helper:  12 Nos.
Educational Qualification:  Class 8th pass.
Age Limit:  At least 18years.
Salary: Rs.8000/- per month.

N.B:  For all post salary is fixed.
