West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) Invites 4900 Pass Graduate for TET.

West Bengal  School Service Commission (WBSSC) is going to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examination for Pass Graduate. 4900 Nos vacancies to be filled through this TET. Candidates who are Interested and eligible and who want to be teacher for Class V -Class VIII, can submit their Application form.Form that can be purchased from Post Office(not all post office).qualification norms and other details are given below –

Qualification norms for TET for Pass Graduate Teacher(Class V to VIII): Candidates at least 50% marks (for reserved categories 45% marks) at Graduation / Master Degree level examination, may sit for TET.

N.B: The candidates who does not have requisite minimum marks for appearing TET or who only wants to sit for Hons or PG vacancies shall be allowed to purchase Form and Brochures kit from 12-02- 2014 to 25-02-2014. However, such applicants 13th RLST (AT) will be allowed to submit the application after Public Notice in this regard mentioning vacancies available for each subject, Category & Regional Commission as will be notified in this regard in future (tentatively in the month of April,2014).

The candidates who also want to sit for Honours or Post Graduate vacancies through 13th RLST (AT) may appeared for TET along with next 13th RLST (AT) examination and such candidates may submit application of RLST in prescribed format to the respective Regional Commission for which they will be interested to apply after publication of Notice of 13th RLST (AT) during the month of April, 2014.

The forthcoming advertisement regarding 13th RLST (AT) 2013 may be published by the West Bengal School Service Commission during the month of April 2014.

Question of 13th RLST (AT) examination may be subjective or objective as per discretion of the Commission.

Fee for Application: The interested Candidates may sit for TET shall pay Application Fee of Rs.250/- (for General / OBC candidates) and Rs.80/- (for SC/ST/PH candidates).

Applying Process: The Interested candidates and who are eligible can purchased the OMR Form which will be available at 847 Post Offices all over the West Bengal.

N.B: The duly filled Application form shall be submitted strictly at the same Post-Office from where the form has been issued.

For Pass Graduate Teacher:

Starting date of available of OMR Form from the Post Offices: 30-01-2014

Last date of available of OMR Form :11/02/2014 (1 PM)

Last date of submission of OMR Form at respective Post Office:11/02/2014 (4 PM)

For Honoursor Post Graduate Teacher :

Starting date of selling of OMR Form to candidates willing to sit for Honors/Post Graduate Teacher: 12-02-2014

Last date of selling of Form for H/PG Teacher: 25-02-2014.

Date of submission of Form for H/PG Teacher: Will be announced in due course.
